My Favorite Food Blogs

Keslick Family Farm
This is my newest favorite when it comes to food blogs.  They feature foods that are in season and include tips and recipes that are very intriguing. My first recipe blog entry will be from a recipe they shared in their blog.

The Pastry Chef
The Pastry Chef is a fellow fitness friend. She doesn't cook much and I rarely bake, so in the kitchen she's the ying to my yang. She's also professionally trained but keeps her feet on the ground when it comes to sharing her recipes and modifications.

André Bakes His Way Through Martha Stewart's Cookie Book
I found this blog through a friend's recommendation. André describes his experiences as he cooks his way through all 175 recipes in Martha Stewart's Cookie Book and adds some personal stories with each entry.  He is a middle-aged gay man, who grew up in a Catholic school and has quite a way with words.  He is an excellent writer which makes his blog a wonderful place to visit, even if you are like me, and don't care for cookies.

Reclaiming My Health
Carrie is another fitness friend, and while her blog is mostly focused on the whole subject of fitness in general, she includes meal ideas, food topics and an occasional recipe in her posts too.

Sage & Simple
This blog belongs to another fitness friend, who shares some vegetarian, and occasionally vegan, recipes and a lot of wonderful tips including thrift store shopping with style.  She recently moved to Denmark, so a lot of her current entries feature the personal challenges of culture shock and language barriers as well.
